THE LAST SWIMMER - 11 x 14 Inches

Signed and numbered. Limited edition 400. As an artist and photographer, I found myself captivated by a remarkable scene at a beach in Vernon, BC. It was the end of a bustling summer day, and amidst the grandeur of a magnificent bay, I spotted a lone swimmer. Against the backdrop of a breathtaking golden sky and towering mountains, she seemed small yet held an air of mystery that ignited my imagination.

During the twilight hours, the warm, golden hues bathed the scene, creating a serene atmosphere that mirrored the swimmer's movements. It was a tranquil moment where the stillness of the surroundings accentuated her isolation and evoked a sense of peace and harmony. The gentle ripples on the water's surface seemed to dance in perfect harmony, adding to the enchantment of the sight.

While I was on a trip to Vernon BC, I happened upon this captivating moment. The swimmer was unaware of my presence, but I was keenly aware of her and of the beauty that surrounded her. Our paths never crossed, and her face remained hidden from me, almost as if it was meant to be.

This photograph invites you to immerse yourself in the captivating meeting point of the golden sky and the calm waters, where the lone swimmer becomes one with the tranquil scene. Allow the serenity of twilight to inspire contemplation and awe, beckoning you to find solace within its embrace.
